Looking for flights to Scandinavia ? Hopefully this directory of airlines with services from UK & Eire to Scandinavia and the Nordic region will be useful.
 
 
BA - Flies from London (Heathrow) to Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm. At BA you can also book Finnair flights to Helsinki from Manchester as well as flights to Billund from London City.
 
KLM - Main advantage is they offer flights from 15 UK airports to many Nordic destinations via Amsterdam. KLM have a very good range of destinations in Norway (Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand, Sandejford, Oslo and Trondheim), as well as Sweden (Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping,)
 
SAS - Tip : Book with Opodo because you can combine with other flights and also build your own city-break. SAS is reducing capacity for 2010 but is still a major carrier to the Scandic capital cities from Heathrow. You can also book SAS flights at bmi if you prefer their frequent flyer scheme and also bmi have a newly designed website that is easy to use.
 
Sterling - Flew from London (Gatwick) to Copenhagen, Billund (legoland), Aalborg,
Stockholm, and Oslo. In the summer they flew from Edinburgh to Copenhagen & Stockholm. Sterling went bankrupt in 2008 but has been born again as "Cimber-Sterling" and for 2010 offers flights to Copenhagen from Gatwick, Edinburgh and Newcastle. Cimber-Sterling also flies from Gatwick to Billund.
 
Iceland Express - Flies from London (Both Gatwick & Stansted) to Reykjavik and in 2010 Iceland Express will be going longhaul with New York flights on offer.
 
Icelandair - Connects Reykjavik to London Heathrow, & Manchester.

bmi - The airline formerly known as British Midland flies from Heathrow and Leeds Bradford to Copenhagen.
 
SunAir - Flies from Manchester and Birmingham to Billund. SunAir flights can be booked at BA.
 
Finnair - Flies to Helsinki from London (Heathrow) and Manchester which can be booked at BA.
 
Norwegian - Flies from London Stansted and Edinburgh to Oslo plus Stansted to Kristiansand, Bergen and Trondheim.
 
FlyMe - Flew from London (Stansted) to Gothenburg until bankruptcy in March 2007.
 
Cimber Air - Offers a daily flight from Newcastle to Copenhagen, as well as a daily service from Gatwick to Billund. Cimber has bought Sterling airlines and has relaunched some Sterling UK Denmark services (see Sterling above).
 
Aer Lingus - Connects Dublin to Helsinki but ceased their Copenhagen - Dublin link at the end of 2008. SAS still flies Dublin-Copenhagen.
 
Malmo aviation - Flies domestic routes in Sweden to and from Stockholm Bromma airport which is the most central of the four main airports serving Stockholm.
 
Atlantic Airways - The airline of the Faroe islands. Atlantic airways offers summer only flights from Stansted to Shetland and the Faroes.
 
 
Air Greenland - No UK routes unfortunately. Connects Greenland to Copenhagen and Baltimore.
 
eastern airways - flies to Stavanger from Newcastle and Aberdeen. eastern airways also fly to Oslo from Aberdeen and offer connecting flights via ABZ from other UK aiorports.
 
Blue1 - Part of the SAS group and as such can be booked at SAS or  Opodo where flights can be combined with SAS, Finnair & BA. Blue1 flies from Dublin & London to Helsinki. Blue1 switched from Stansted to Heathrow in 2008.
 
Ryanair - Offers flights to secondary airports serving Stockholm & Oslo from Birmingham, Stansted, Prestwick, Dublin and Liverpool, Gothenburg from Stansted, Prestwick and Dublin, Tampere (Finland) from Stansted and Dublin, Billund from Birmingham, Stansted and Dublin.
 
easyJet - Only UK - Nordic routes are London (Stansted & Gatwick) to Copenhagen and London (Gatwick) to Helsinki. Go-fly which was bought by easyJet used to fly to Reykjavik from London but sadly easyJet did not continue with that service.
