Nordic Airport Guide
Here is our directory of Nordic airports with scheduled flights to the UK.

Denmark

Copenhagen airport - The largest airport in the Nordic region acts as the main hub for SAS. CPH regularly wins awards for its design and performance. Copenhagen airport is as close to Malmö as it is to downtown Copenhagen (both approx 20 mins by train).
The closest hotel to CPH is the splendid Hilton which adjoins the terminal.

Billund airport serves west Denmark and is close to Legoland.

Aalborg airport serves northern Denmark, close to white sandy beaches.

Aarhus airport serves the second biggest city in Denmark.

Esbjerg airport serves the west coast of Denmark.

Sweden

Stockholm's main airport is Arlanda which is 20 minutes from Stockholm city centre via an excellent (but expensive) express train.
Skvasta airport, 100km from Stockholm is the fourth largest in Sweden and accommodates Ryanair flights. Tiny Vasterås airport, also used by Ryanair, is a similar distance to Stockholm.

Malmo airport serves the South of Sweden, but many Southern Swedes use Copenhagen due to the excellent train links.

Gothenburg Landvetter airport serves the West of Sweden and it's second city.
If you are flying with SAS, KLM, BA or Sterling you will arrive at Gothenburg Landvetter.

There is also a smaller airport, slightly closer to the city known as Gothenburg City airport. Gothenburg City airport is used by Ryanair for their flights from Stansted & Prestwick.

Norway

Nordicflights.co.uk tip : Because Norway isn't a member of the EU, the airports still sell duty free goods to all international destinations.

Oslo Airport is the main hub for Norway linking 25 domestic destinations with connections to a good selection of flights to European destinations.

Rygge airport is 60km from Oslo and was opened in late 2007 as a passenger airport.

Sandefjord Torp airport, is over 100km from Oslo in the Southeast of Norway.

Kristiansand airport serves southern Norway

Bergen airport serves western Norway and is marketed as the gateway city to the world famous fjords of Norway and for that reason it has become Norway's most popular port of call for cruises.

Iceland
Nordicflights.co.uk tip : Like Norway, Iceland isn't a member of the EU,so you can get "real" duty free goods at your departure airport as well as at Keflavik.

Keflavik is the main international airport for Iceland. It is around 50km from Reykjavik.

Finland

Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is around 15km from the city centre.
